REIKI in Luxembourg

A gentle space to restore balance, calm and connection

Reiki is a Japanese wellbeing practice offered as a moment of relaxation, grounding and reconnection with yourself.

A session provides a calm space where you can slow down, bring greater attention to your sensations and take some time for yourself, away from the pace of everyday life.

Reiki is offered here as a complementary wellbeing practice. It is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any illness.

It can, however, support a sense of relaxation, help release accumulated tension and encourage a state that is conducive to rest, reconnection and greater inner awareness.

An energy-based approach to balance and wellbeing

Reiki invites us to reconnect with a greater sense of balance, calm and connection with ourselves.

Through attentive presence and the gentle placement of the hands on or just above the body, a session creates a space to slow down, release accumulated tension and bring deeper attention to what is happening within.

Reiki takes a holistic view of the person, considering the physical, emotional, mental and inner dimensions of our experience.

Each session is unique, and the experience may vary from one person to another.

Some people describe a deep sense of relaxation, warmth, calm or greater inner centredness during or after a session.

The benefits people seek from a Reiki session

A Reiki session may be chosen to:

  • encourage a state of deep relaxation;

  • create a space of calm when everyday life feels particularly intense;

  • release feelings of accumulated tension in the body;

  • reconnect with a greater sense of centredness and inner stability;

  • develop greater awareness of sensations, emotions and personal needs;

  • accompany a period of transition or change;

  • reconnect with a sense of energy and vitality;

  • support a personal approach to wellbeing and self-awareness.

A complementary approach

Reiki can have a place within a broader approach to wellbeing and may be used alongside other forms of support.

It provides dedicated space for relaxation, reconnection, body awareness and inner experience, dimensions that can feel particularly valuable during demanding periods or times of change.

Reiki nevertheless remains a complementary practice. It does not replace medical diagnosis, medical treatment, psychotherapy or care from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional when these are needed.

It can therefore be considered alongside appropriate medical or therapeutic approaches, rather than in opposition to them.

How does Reiki work?

Within the Reiki tradition, the person is considered as a whole, and the practice is based on the concept of vital energy.

During a session, the practitioner uses different hand positions on or just above the body. The intention is to create favourable conditions for relaxation, inner awareness and a personal sense of balance.

For some people, this quiet moment provides an opportunity to slow down the flow of thoughts, return to bodily sensations and experience a greater sense of calm or centredness.

The concept of energy belongs to the traditional framework of Reiki. The Reiki experience remains personal and may be perceived differently from one person to another.
